The New Creatives on the block

Dwayne Kyle and Annie Duynhoven are the original founders of In Progress Productions. They first met at South Seas Film School in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2014. What started as a joke about an actor’s work always being “in progress” quickly grew into a passion for creating content they wanted to see and stories they wanted to tell.

Since then, they have continued to create and explore, collaborating with other like-minded individuals.

Their most significant achievement to date is the short film The Love & Loss of Peter Tom, which was accepted into multiple international film festivals, nominated for numerous awards, and won Best Dark Comedy at The Goldblink Short Film Awards in Australia. They have many projects in the pipeline, so keep an eye out for what’s to come.

Annie Duynhoven has woven a spellbinding peek into a not too distant future where the promise of cosmetic youth and vitality is amplified to one of youthful immortality. Annie, and her co-producer Dwayne Kyle have utilised a refined pallet of tools through choreography, sound and beautiful cinematography to paint an abstract yet powerful idea into her teaser with the promise of a highly compelling and cinematic sci fi storytelling experience still to come in the future. I wish them well with their early exploration into the film industry and we look forward to seeing them working in the medium that they obviously love so much.
